I am a learning developer with a lot of interest in the field. I can be a bit of a perfectionist at times, but I do enjoy persevering and achieving my goals. Additionally, I also like to help my colleagues with problems or other tasks and often try to view issues from multiple perspectives. Besides that I really like being creative and original in the projects I work on and love it when I can make something stand out from the rest.

This was my first internship I have done in software development. In this internship I made websites with wordpress/php. But I also learned a lot about interacting with product owners. Like having meetings with them, achieving deadlines but most importantly, making them satisfied with the product.

I used to work part-time at Karwei Schagen. Initially, for six months, four times a week, and then one day every weekend. This was because I switched my studies and needed something to fill the time.

I worked as an intern at Snip Electrotechniek for two months during my first course of study. However, after those two months, we had to consider the next step because I was going to discontinue the course, hence the gap.

Most of my focus right now is on getting better at coding inside of unity projects. Currently I'm training a lot to become unity certified. But besides that I'm also starting on making a game in unity with a small group of people. And something I've been doing a lot is making pixel art. Bit by bit I learn more about different topics of pixel art. Like making color pallets, practicing different shapes of caracters or terain and working with light angles/shading. But at the moment making pixel art is more of a hobby for me.

Interests

In addition to programming, I really love the summer. During that time of the year, I enjoy being outdoors and hanging out with friends. Personally, I'm very fond of traveling and exploring other countries. I'm always open to trying fun and new things and try to step out of my comfort zone a lot!

When the weather is bad, I enjoy gaming online with friends or doing other activities. Sometimes, I also like to work on personal projects and teach myself new things in my free time. Besides that, i like to collect figures called "skylanders", and try to scout for good prices every now and then.
